We are one of five Community Patrol groups in Tauranga. These 5 groups are:-:

Our Patrol was formed in 2015 and is affiliated with the national body, CPNZ ( Community Patrols of New Zealand ). CPNZ was first formed in 2001 and today it supports over 5000 members spread over 150 affliiated community patrols throughout New Zealand.

Our members are all dedicated volunteers who come from all kinds of working backgrounds - from a host of different trades and industries. One characteristic we all have in common though, is our keen and genuine desire to be of service to the local community, with particular focus on working with the Police in the prevention of crime. We are now looking for more people to join us so if you have a genuine desire to make a difference in the community please be sure to contact us.

We patrol the areas of Sulphur Point, Matua, Bellevue, Brookfield, Judea, Otumoetai, Pillans Point, Bethlehem, Te Puna. and elsewhere when requested to by Police.

We are on the lookout for more volunteers to man our patrols and are seeking mature persons of excellent character. We work with Police being their "eyes and ears" as observers only and take no direct part in Police incidents.
We patrol the areas of Matua, Bellevue, Brookfield, Judea, Otumoetai, Pillans Point and Bethlehem.
All you need is a full driver's licence and pass police vetting. Full training is given, and experienced patrollers and Police provide on-going guidance.
